It’s the most wonderful time of the year! In my opinion the Christmas holiday period outweighs birthdays, Easter and all other celebrated days throughout the year. For me Christmas is about the wonderment on people’s faces when I’ve nailed their Christmas gift. I love the giving and put a lot of thought into (and often spend too much money on) what I can give to my loved ones that is something they would not pick for themselves or never knew they needed. It is at this time of year where I receive a lot of eye rolls for breaking out the Christmas carols wayyyy too early, for dragging my friends to various carols and light-seeing events, and for waking my family up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa has bought them this year (I’ve never grown out of it much to my parents and sister’s despair).
It’s obvious that I love most things about this time of the year – unless you try to drag me to the shops in the week leading up to Christmas – but a lot of people have difficulties at this time and I think it’s important to give to those people where you have the capacity to. Giving doesn’t have to be material; it’s the simple things like smiling at a stranger or saying hello to someone that can often make their day. In the words of the fabulous Ellen DeGeneres, go out of you way to be kind to one another. Christmas is a facilitator of peace and love, and I personally think that a little bit of kindness and cheer this time of year does everyone wonders.
The reason for this post is not only to sap on about Christmas because lets be honest, I could talk for days. The purpose is to share a change in hours beginning on the 1st of January 2017 (can you believe I’ve just used that number?!?) Our hours of operation will be changing according to the demand of our clients. At this stage hours of operation will be from 6pm to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 3pm on weekends. There will be some flexibility to these hours so if you are looking to make a booking and cannot find the time to come in, please give us a call and we will look to find you time outside of regular hours.
In honour of my love for Christmas, and my ginormous collection of Christmas apparel, I will be celebrating the countdown with 7 days of Christmas t-shirts. Keep and eye out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for those pictures. I will also make another post here at the end of that countdown so you can see all of the pictures together.
I hope that everyone has a fantastic Christmas, and a safe and happy New Year. Thank you all for your support this year for the launch of Prosper O.T and we cannot wait to share with you what 2017 brings for us!! 🎅🎄🎁
